What's around Savannah?
Forsyth Park
A must-see Savannah classic. Perfect for a relaxing walk, people-watching, and photos by the fountain. Bring a blanket and enjoy the weather.
E Shaver Booksellers
E Shaver’s has a big selection and a cute little cat roaming the store. It's one of our favorite spots.
Books on Bay
Books on Bay has first edition Agatha Christie, Nancy Drew, the Hardy boys, and more!
River Street
River street has lots of tourist shops, Savannah merch, and candy. Beware of the “historic” steps; they are not compatible with heels.
Clary’s (Maddie and Julian’s first date spot)
To be fair, it does not beat NJ diners, but it’s as close as Savannah gets. Coffee is good and vibes are cozy.
Savannah Coffee Roasters
Julian’s favorite spot to pick up a breakfast sandwich and coffee.
Cathedral Basilica of St. John the Baptist
A beautiful Cathedral where Maddie sang in the Latin choir for 2 years! Julian did not but walked by it to class.
SCAD museum of Art
As Scad alum we are contractionably obligated to promote the SCAD Museum.
Bonaventure Cemetery
It’s a little bit of a drive but worth it in Maddie's opinion. Cool historic gravestones, spooky scenery, Home of Gracie. Maddie's favorite Bonaventure find: a headstone engraved with “She did what she could”—and honestly what more could she do.
Lay out on Tybee Island
Also a little bit of a drive but a great beach to check out if you stay for a little longer! Beware of the Canoes.
